The hidden cost in Microsoft-ware
Given that around 100% of the market is dominated by capital-motivated software, it shows me a critical weakness in the quality of the product. Every product developed for capital profit that is successful for that company in attaining capital profit has a compromise of interest in quality. The reality is, companies want ongoing service fees. They make crap software so they can charge their clients for ongoing fixes and tech support. So many people are caught up in making crappy software that is bound to break that they lose sight of quality assurance.
